GETAC B300 rugged laptop:
The new B300 from GETAC features a 13.3-inch XGA sunlight-readable sharp display with 1200 nits (candela per square meter (cd/m2)) of brightness including anti-glare technology that lets you work in the sun. The B300 laptop has a 1.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 processor, complemented by 4GB RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity. The Getac B300 laptop certainly lives up to the standard of toughness with watertight magnesium alloy case, and vibration and drop resistant. Other add-ons include Bluetooth 2.0, 3G data and GPS as options. There is also a processor-based display tech built-in based on the US Army's night vision spec to auto-adjust for brightness when used at night for improved safety.
The B300 laptop also boasts a Super-Multi DVD ROM and a Biometric Fingerprint Reader. The laptop is wind-, dust- and rain-resistant! A 12-hour battery keeps you going. The B300 is both MIL-STD-810F and IP54 compliant, boasting a shock mounted HDD, sealed I/O caps and doors to prevent damage from solid particles and moisture. The B300's advanced security features such as a fingerprint scanner, TPM V1.2 and optional smart card reader help to safeguard important and sensitive data. With an extensive list of security, power and connectivity options, the B300 is designed to be fully customizable, and ensures productive, worry-free mobile computing.
