The advanced Motorola ML910 Rugged Notebook combines ruggedness and wireless networking abilities into one notebook computer. Designed for challenging environments, the ML910 Rugged Notebook is built and tested to meet U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810F. The notebook computer includes as a standard feature a HDD heater for startup and operation in freezing temperatures, with diagnostic software that monitors internal conditions and prevents outages due to extreme heat and cold. The Motorola ML910 Rugged Notebook is specifically designed to meet the requirements of military, law enforcing, public safety, ENS and field workers performing in tough environments.

The Motorola ML910 comes with the handsome black and silver design and a large Motorola logo on top of the unit. Thoroughly updated Motorola ML 910 features a speedier and efficient 1.66MHz Intel Core Duo, more memory, and a dedicated ATI Radeon X1400 video processor for faster screen updates with 128MB dedicated video memory and a video capture card that enables high performance graphics and real-time video processing. In addition to handling the most demanding applications, the ML910 Rugged Notebook features the 13.3" widescreen display providing higher resolution and more space to view multiple applications compared to other rugged notebooks in its class. The 13.3-inch display, rated at 500 NIT for improved daylight readability, features the trendy wide aspect ratio format. The Motorola ML910 Rugged Notebook is a high-performance computing platform with flexible options such as sunlight-readable display, backlit keyboards, and integrated GPS receiver, and multiple integrated radios.

The embedded network capabilities provide multiple wireless connectivity options that allow you to send and receive vital data to enhance your communicability and strategize effective response with mission critical video and information. The optional built-in modules enable you to connect to private or public data networks and avoid fragile external cards. An innovative RF antenna design makes your ML910 notebook connected even where other notebooks get static. The giant in the communications business, Motorola took extra care to make sure the ML 910 is well connected. The system is designed from the ground up for wireless communications, with options for embedded EVDO or HSDPA modems. ML 910's wireless system is also integrated with MOTOMESH, the 4.9GHz multi-band radio network for public safety workers and can be integrated with private DataTAC networks. The ML910 Rugged Notebook features the state of the art wireless performance system with the capability to integrate up to four radios including Wireless Local Area Network (LAN), Bluetooth wireless technology, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Wide Area Network (WAN) radios, along with software for seamless, secure and intelligent roaming across multiple wireless networks.

The ML 910 safety and security features include an integrated high resolution fingerprint scanner, TPM version 1.2, an optional Smart Card reader, and the software to support it all.
