The rugged GammaTech Durabook D13RY features the powerful Intel Centrino Dual Core technology to offer the best portable computing experience. The design includes a magnesium top and bottom case to protect your LCD and vital internal components, a spill resistant keyboard and insulation around the touchpad and control switches, to protect against spillage, and a built-in webcam. The anti-shock mountings around the memory, CPU and HDD protect your valuable data from drops and impacts. The D13RY can withstand drops of 29 inches onto hard surfaces
The Durabook D13RY, designed with the state-of-the-art multi-media technology, is fit for the field workers in the mobile computing environment. The Durabook's 13.3-inch wide-aspect brilliant LCD display and a 1.3 Mega-pixel Webcam are better suited to rough field work and to play the latest DVD titles. The audio, compliant with the latest high definition audio standards, is powered by 24-Bit output. All the connectivity you need as well as a Smart Card socket and a 4 in 1 Media Card Reader, are incorporated into the system. The Durabook D13RYis designed for multi-media on the go.
In terms of performance the Durabook is equally good compared to the competing systems.
